I Bought an Amazon Shoe Pallet Here’s What Actually Arrived

Everyone on YouTube makes it look glamorous. A giant pallet shows up, you crack it open, and out tumble pristine Nike Air Maxes and designer heels. My experience was a little different and a lot more educational.

The Purchase

I found a pallet listed on Liquidation.com for $380, described as “customer returns, mixed footwear, Grade B condition.” Around 120 pairs. I figured worst case I’d break even. I was wrong but not in the way you’d expect.

What I Actually Got

About 40% of the shoes were in great shape. Genuinely resellable, some still with tags. Another 30% needed minor cleaning or had small defects I could disclose honestly. The remaining 30%? Mismatched pairs, heavy damage, or sizes so obscure they’ll sit forever.

What I Learned

Grade matters enormously. Grade B” is not “like new. Always buy from platforms that provide a detailed manifest and factor at least 30% unsellable inventory into your math. Also shipping a 300-pound pallet to a second-floor apartment is a humbling experience.

Would I Do It Again?

Absolutely. I made back my investment and then some. But I went in smarter the second time, and that made all the difference. (https://palletsflow.com/product/air-jordan-4-pallet/)
